Woe to teachers of the Divine, veiled in false allure, compassing the vast expanse, to ensnare and obscure. Crafting converts with a touch and misguided spells, creating a child of hell twofold more than themselves. In the guise of righteousness, a deceptive charade, Leading astray the seeking souls, in the shadows they've laid. Beware the masquerade, in the masks they wear, a symphony of pretense, hanging in the air. Holy rituals tainted, with deceitful intent, as the adversary revels in the chaos he invents. Beware the subtle serpent, weaving his snare, for in the guise of light, he leads the faithful to despair. (Based on Matthew 23:13-15) Twisted tongues, deceptive hands Houses built upon the sand Unknowingly or by design Congregation of lost & blind Regurgitating old traditions Manipulating acts of contrition Feeding on the hopes and prayers judge jury executioner Pointing fingers condemnation No foundation domination Puppeteers weave webs unseen Crafting narrative truth unclean Religion over relationship False teachers crack the whip Spiritual war unholy fire Flesh and blood battle desired No control over eternity Religion won't set captives free No kin, no friend, no mere man Will defend in judgment hands Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
